Bowmans Bursaries: Corporate Lawyer Programme 2020

Bowmans bursaries program from Bowmans is a leading Pan-African law firm. Our track record of providing domestic and cross-border legal services in the fields of corporate law, banking and finance law and dispute resolution, spans over a century. We deliver integrated legal services to clients throughout Africa from six offices (Antananarivo, Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Kampala and Nairobi) in four countries (Kenya, Madagascar, South Africa and Uganda) and provide coverage of francophone OHADA jurisdictions across the continent from our office in Madagascar.

It is often said that people are the only real assets within law firms and creating an environment in which all people can thrive makes obvious business sense. This is particularly so in the countries in which we operate, as they are culturally diverse and have complicated historical backgrounds. Our culture, the way we engage with each other and our clients, is probably the single greatest asset that will carry us through the challenging times ahead. It is the ‘magic dust’ that will differentiate us from others in an increasingly competitive environment.

Who we look for:

  • Commercially aware
  • Committed to Excellence
  • Passionate about Law
